1. Tour the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda with the Friends of the Palm Springs Library. The trip includes bus transportation to and from Palm Springs, a 28-minute film, docent-guided tour of the facility, the helicopter used by Nixon, and a box lunch.
2. Registration is limited to 48 people. Initial registration will be restricted to members of the Friends of the Palm Springs Library and family members until September 30. Given availability, registration will be opened to the general public thereafter.
3. Registration fee is $65 per person of which $10 represents a donation to the Friends of the Palm Springs Library, which may be deductible for tax purposes as provided by law. The registration fee for non-members will be $75, of which $20 represents a donation.
4. Please choose one of the following box lunches, all of which include chips, cookie and beverage:
a. Turkey and Provolone Sandwich
b. Ham and Swiss Sandwich
c. Roast Beef and Cheddar
d. Vegetarian
5. Participants may pay by credit card or by check. Checks and registration forms should be made payable to Friends of the Palm Springs Library and sent to Michael Thompson, Treasurer, Friends of the Palm Springs Library, 300 S. Sunrise Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262.
6. Deadline for refund of registration fees is Saturday, November 1. Thereafter no refunds will be made.
7. An "Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form" is available. Please print, sign, and bring with you on the day of the tour. A form is required for EACH participant. Registrants arriving at the bus with no form will be required to sign a form on site prior to boarding the bus.
8. Location for pickup: The mall parking lot opposite the Dollar Tree located at Vista Chino and Sunrise Way.
9. The bus will load at 7:45 and depart sharply at 8:00 AM. It will depart Yorba Linda for Palm Springs at 4:00 PM.
